Philadelphia Inquirer on Jon Runyan's campaign

This article was published a while ago but it is probably the best quick summary of Jon Runyan's run for Congress:

Republican congressional nominee Jon Runyan called for cuts in taxes and spending Tuesday, saying: "We have to put money back in the people's hands."

At an afternoon news conference, however, he could offer no details of the costs or consequences of his ideas.

  1. This is where Runyan is exactly like Christie. Parroting the tax cut mantra without any specifics. A ten-year-old could do across-the-board cuts without any thought, also. Alder challenged Runyan to be specific on what spending he would cut at last night's debate. Runyan never provided an answer.
